Can someone remind me where this color scheme for Skeleton originates from?

It’s a 200x line toy variant.  The particular 200x variant was nicknamed by the fans “Disco Skeletor” as a mock for how loud and outlandish the color scheme was but over the years “Disco Skeletor” has become a bit of a fan favorite from its notorious reputation.

I’m not a big POP collector but the SDCC exclusive regular size Disco Skeletor from several years ago remains the most “valued” POP in my collection hovering around $1200 (and costing only $15 when I bought it at that year’s comic con).  By comparison most of the other ones I bought from SDCC around that same time frame tend to only be valued between $300 to $800 so there’s a lot of extra fan love out there driving up that first Disco Skeletor price.

That's right. I remember that figure from the 200x line now. Thanks.
