Marvel Legends Spider-Man Retro Wave CLASSIC GREEN GOBLIN Figure Review

Recommended Posts

That green really pops. I have the previous release on the shelf now, but was always expecting them to redo him with a better head sculpt. Can't wait to get this one and swap out the old one.

Green Goblin is by far one of my favorite comic book villains. I was already excited for this one but so happy to see more. Thanks for the review

I, myself, loved the animated series and at one point I had all the figures and vehicles and play sets. I sold them all and am now in the process of getting them back.  But then these come out and I am torn. Get these or collect the originals????

So, my two cents......which is worth about that much!...get the originals. Those figures have the core nostalgic value that a lot of your collection, e.g. MASK or MOTU ..does, and these are, ok. Yeahhh, as much as I love modern Marvel Legends, I'm disappointed in the Spider-man Animated wave. Spidey should look more in face & body like the cartoon version, instead he's more 'standard' Spidey. Daredevil's wearing a suit he never wore on the show.... yeah it's all probably nitpicking, but it irks me. I think Legends could have done much better to embrace the design aesthetic unique to the series............. ok, rant over!  Enjoy whatever you buy :)

I like your thinking.  i am an old school guy by heart.  All my stuff is pretty much from the 80s except for the new MOTU products.  I think I would be happier with the originals myself.  However, the thing is the new Spiderman figures look so good and what i like is that the figures themselves look better and come with more. In the end though I'll probably go with the originals.
