just ran down her imdb page because I didn't recognize her name. I don't think I have seen anything she had been a part of so this is a wait and see. wondering if it could be a spin off of the mandalorian focusing on Ahsoka? she has had a big popularity spike with the last season of Clone Wars and being announced for season 2 of the Mandalorian

TechRadar tried to talk to Dafne Keen about the upcoming new Disney+ Star Wars series The Acolyte but didn't get much from the actor.  Keen did tease that if she mentioned too much about the cast or the plot, it would spoil the whole series.

Quote

"...it's set 100 years before the prequel movies, and it's kind of an explanation of how the Sith infiltrated the Jedi. It's a Sith-led story, which has never been done before.  It's been really fun to film – the cast is amazing, and the director and crew are just lovely. The whole experience is wonderful, and I'm already excited for people to see it."

Star Wars: The Acolyte is set a century before the events of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace and takes place during the High Republic era, a time when the Galactic Republic and the Jedi order were at the height of their powers.

Starwars.com revealed the plot synopsis and confirms that evil forces are stirring somewhere in the galaxy, and it's these events, which play out in The Acolyte, that eventually lead to the Jedi and Galactic Republic's downfall in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

"The Acolyte is a mystery-thriller that will take viewers into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers in the final days of the High Republic era," the story synopsis reads. "A former Padawan reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes, but the forces they confront are more sinister than they ever anticipated."

Filming for the series began in late October and will comprise eight episodes.
