I’ve totally lost interest in this series after the “Crisis” cross-over.  Are the stories any good so far in the series?

I'm pretty sure what ever mandate Berlanti was under to keep his "political" beliefs in check to maximize viewership for the crossover has ended. Since then, sadly, the show has left behind the even-handed, everyone can enjoy it series it started off as, and became the show I originally feared it would be.

There was an interesting arch involving Beth/Alice's sweet tempered, likable non insane doppelganger being stranded on their Earth, but even that was an exercise in finding diamonds in the dirt.
