Birds of Prey Getting A Home Release Early On March 24

Warner Bros has moved up their home release of the new Harley Quinn Birds of Prey movie to March 24. The movie should cost $19.99 to buy on most major digital download platforms, and will be available for rental in April.

The move to release the movie even as it still plays in theaters comes on the heels that most movie theaters are shutting down for at least several weeks in this country due to coronavirus fears.

Other studios like Universal are making similar moves by releasing current movies at home such “Trolls World Tour,” “The Hunt” and “The Invisible Man,”.

It's a good bet that other studios will soon follow with similar moves. This of course will only work for movies already completed. Studios have temporarily shut down production on most in development movies and TV shows over the last serveral days, again as a result of the Covid-19 virus and attempts from trying to keep it from spreading.
