If condition matters to you that might be the best way to go so you can pick your own or order from a place online.

That's correct. I also want to relieve some of that nostalgia of going to the store and get the figures I want...

Ah yes...the nostalgia of getting up in the morning...hitting a couple stores...all in the hopes of finding that treasure!  Those were the days!

I saw those Star Wars figures at my local Walmarts and cards are in outstanding condition...

You definitely have a better chance with condition at the store then buying online...guaranteed!

Then I stick to my original plan and hunt at the local Walmart stores...

That is why I do not think I will be ordering from Wal Mart.  I am hoping that BBTS will have them and I will get them there.  Wal Mart does not care for packaging toys for collectors.  I have ordered Star Wars figures from them and unless you order like 5 in the hopes that one will come in good shape...you will be disappointed.

It is the same thing that Amazon. For improving probabilities of a better packaging the key is to order several items, in order of not just to get free shipping but also a volume that justify the use of a box in packaging.

You said it.  The thing that sucks though is that you then have to return items.

It seems some people have already been able to place their order and have even received their purchase, but ouch!, Walmart's packaging is not cardback friendly.

From the looks on eBay it looks like it was only He-Man and Skeletor that were briefly made available for purchase. I see know signs of any of the others. As for the packaging since I will be opening mine I dont really care that much. I doubt I will ever see these on the shelves of Walmart.

So far I have not found any in Wal Mart and neither has my friend in Colorado.

I cannot wait for these. I know they're going to break my bank but damn. Based on the Masters of the WWE Universe figures, these are going to be amazing.

The Masters of the Universe WWE figures were not good.

I disagree, but that's what discussion boards are for. I get that some people may not like the concept or design as they try to fit the wrestlers gimmick with the character, and believe me, the Rey Mysterio Booyaka Tribe thing was ridiculously laughable and juvenile. I was more commenting on the redesign of the toys themselves. They still have that old school look but with much better articulation and sharper facial sculpts. I'm sure it's not everyone's cup of tea, but to outright call them bad seems a bit unfair.

I get what you mean.  my comment was geared toward the idea of the figures not the sculpts.  the idea of the figures to me was dumb as there is no connection between MOTU and WWE in my opinion.

Ok, these figures look pretty good.  i have to say.  The Scare Glow looks great and the fact that he has a cloth cape is AWESOME!!!!  All the rest look good too. but I do not like Orko having this purple floor on the bottom.  Why are they doing that.  just keep it clear Mattel!!!!!

I still wonder why they went with plastic instead of coth, and corious to see how the will handle Ninjor's cloak.

If they make Ninjor.  Cloth capes are so 80s...they should add them and I guarantee interest will soar!!!

I assume they would do a soft plastic lay over similar to how the MOTUC version was done. just a guess, however it seemed to work pretty well.

PS. I wonder if they'll even be able to call him Ninjor. When the MOTUC one came out they had to change his name to Ninja Warrior because another company, probably Bandai with it's Power Rangers brand, had the rights to the name Ninjor.

Maybe brand him as "Nin-Jor" instead "Ninjor", dunno their marketing and legal teams sure can came up with something smart.

I agree.  They should do whatever they can to try and keep the names the same!
