Well, that's definitely not Defenders of the Realm, that's for sure.

Do you really want another of those? I loved the show and still enjoy it but it is a cringefest. Also pretty ironic that a pg cartoon is based on a mature rated video game series. This is today with no filters and is kind of to be expected.

Yuck! I couldn't even finish the trailer. For those who are fans of this sort of thing, enjoy your torture-porn.

So you do know that the video game series that this is based off of features extreme over the top violence in every iteration, right? Clearly in todays ecosystem, being a cartoon doesnt mean it has to be PG and can have violence, gore and bad language. If anything, this cartoon is an easier way to recreate a story from MKs mythos and be faithful to the source material without spending alot of money to make it. I mean if mortal kombat never had gore from the start, it would not have got as much attention and notoriety and even legacy as it has 25 years later.

For me personally, this looks pretty unique and im pretty interested in anything MK related. I dont really dig the artstyle much but it seems to be rather faithful to the source material. Its also weird that its the MKX iterations and not the original costumes from MK1/MK2 or even MK11s versions.

Sadly,  I agree which is saying nothing good about MK.

Well the characters are very memorable, which helps and they were the first to do blood and gore and they are entertaining so the blood isnt the only thing. But in todays day in age where blood and gore arent as apparent, they still are original and unique.
