Yes, that would have been the best, but they decided to drop the heads along with the extra pairs of hands to make the figures as unexpensive as possible, but who knows last month a list was leaked in which Mattel announced its plans for Origins during the Toy Fair from Germany, among other things it was mentioned that there were two 2 packs one with Teela & MAA and the other with Beastman & Mer-Man supposedly these would include alternate heads and accessories based on the mini comics, although there are still no more information on that supposed list some users He-man.org with some sources confirmed that Mattel is considering releasing a new Castle Grayskull (similar to that from Classics but with fewer accessories).

I'm all about a new Castle Grayskull... I think we saw tease of that on the Christmas picture posted by Mattel.

I also love that Orko...

I hope this line does well, I'm a big MOTU fan. I own the original set, 200X, and classics line. Not sure if I have reached my max on MOTU but these figures are not impressive to me. They look very 80's, while that formula worked for that time frame I'm not sure how they will stand up in a 2020 market. I hope Mattel is successful and I'm looking forward to the Netflix cartoon.

I belong to that group of people who have no problem with these figures looking very 80's, which is a funny thing if you think about it because with the GI Joe figures everyone is complaining because they don't look very 80's but they are two completely different animals I suppose, but still I understand the displeasure of some fans for this line, perhaps MOTUC 2.0 would have been a better option, who knows.

I can't say that I'll back up this line 100%, but I can't wait to get them, It might be the last time we see He-Man and company on the shelves.

I am a huge fan of MOTU. It is the main part of my collection.  Here is the thing. I collected all the mattycollector figures, play sets and toys. Then I collected all the super7 stuff. Now another line. Although I love MOTU, I am running out of room.

these figures also don’t look as impressive as the previous two installments.

lastly, the fact that they will be at WalMart stinks. My Walmart’s rarely have any good toys. There is always some guy that works in the back and stuff really reaches the floor.

Depending on sales and the first playset they will be realising for sure is Castle Grayskull.

But don't you think we have enough Castle Grayskulls?  I have the original, I have the MattyCollector, I have the Mega Contrux....

It's a classic an on almost every artwork Castle Grayskull is the most prominent playset from the MOTU stories so indeed it will be the first playset that will be release by Mattel. Is exactly as the He-Man figure that is always a prominent character so it's always the choice to make variations of it or repaints.

But...we do need an Eternia playset.  I am talking about the main setting in almost every cartoon.  I think that we would be fresh and new.  Of course i will get every MOTU toy that comes out, I would just like to get new ones that haven't been done.

Me too want characters and playset not been done before but from what Mattel is doing that doesn't look to be their plans. I think their next step after this origin line will be accurate figures and playsets to the new cartoon that is coming...

If Super 7 is allowed to produce more MOTU figures then that will be a possibility to see the Eternia palace.

Based on what Kevin said about the new cartoon that they are not redesigning the original characters then it could be another possibility to see the Eternia palace if this one is shown in the new cartoon...

As for playsets, I have doubts, although it is true that at least the castle Greyskull is being considered for release in the near future, I don't know if we are going to see a number of playsets similar to what we saw in the vintage line , since playsets are something that we see less and less on store shelves, they are expensive and occupy a lot of shelf space, IMHO in the best case we will have a castle Grayskull and a Snake Mountainas long as the rumor that the castle will be the same as that of Classics but with less accessories is not confirmed and if the line has a LOT of success, even in the field of vehicles I'm not very sure what we will see although everything seems to be that the vintage line will be the basis for Origins.

I am not sure certain faces look as good as they could.  I am talking about Evil Lyn, Tesla, and Heman. Their faces do not look that great. I would have liked to see them look more like the cartoon. I am a huge Motu fan and having product back on shelves is amazing, but I do worry about this line. I want to be able to look at them and be happy.

When I look at my Mattycollector motu toys I am happy to have them. They look great. The super7 items are the same. They look great. Hopefully these will evoke similar feelings, but I don’t know.

MegaConstrux on the other hand is knocking it out of the park. These toys are just soooooo cool. I have them all. I wasn’t sure at first but I am so glad to have them. They make you smile every time you look at them. That is what the toys should do!!!!

This is our toys of old with today's tooling. Can't believe the appeal of yester-year's sculpt when we were younger. Today,  we are spoiled with realism,  super-articulation and fantastic sculpts!

So It seems the MOTU Minis are out in Canada now , they are blind boxes but

it's been found out that you can Easily find out who the character in side the box is by a letter code, which is on the bottom

A = He-Man, B = Skeletor, C= Man at Arms, D= Trapjaw, E=Ram Man, F=Jitsu, G=Buzzoff, H=Slime Pit He-Man

Thanks, If the minis or any new MoTU stuff ever hit the shelves near me I will take a look at the codes, really not a big fan of blind box/bag thing.

Are they really blind boxes if everyone knows what is inside?

I think it was unintentional that the letters on the box correspond with certain figures, and was probably a manufacturing thing, but helpful for the people!
