Bandai America 6" My Hero Academia Figures Revealed

Looks like Bandai America is continuing their series of 6.5" Anime Heroes figures with a second wave that will be including figures based on My Hero Academia.

The first wave included characters from both Naruto and Saint Seiya. This wave of My Hero Academia has figures based on All Might, Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo.

These should not be confused with the 7" versions that McFarlane Toys is doing. We know a second wave of those figures are in the works as well.

Thanks to Henry for the initial image he sent of his finding these on the shelves of a Hong Kong Toys R' Us as well as Maytoys for the additional images which you can check out below. Yes these figures will eventually end up being released in the US as well.

It's crazy to me they started with the exact same three characters McFarlane just released. I mean I get All Might cause he is the face of this franchise, but seems to me they should have mixed it up and given us two characters that differed from McFarlane's right out the gate.

It makes sense to me, it’s the main character, the main character’s mentor, & the main character’s rival. I’m just disappointed they not including a villain.

Im not saying they shouldnt do them, just space them out more. Surely there are enough other characters popular enough to fans that would sell besides these three???

And all at once the toy companies shouted, "F*ck Mcfarlane toys" lol.

I mean...yeah. Their recently announced wave two looks actually cool, but the faces are hideous. That's the only thing he'd need to improve imo.

As for this line, they look better than I anticipated, and seem to have a much better scale than I initially thought. The first images kinda make it look like All Might was barely taller that Deku and Kacchan. I'm really glad that's not the case.

How much do these go for?

$20-$25.   The same cost as the Dragon Ball Dragon Stars line.  They also have Naruto and Saint Seiya Knights of the Zodiac up for pre-order now.

Four companies making My Hero Academia figures.   I can't name another series getting this kind of treatment.

I was lucky enough to grab 1 of 2 Narutos at a Target. (they only got one box in) and I got Saint Seiya off of Amazon. I love these figures and can't wait for My Hero figures. Hopefully they have a wave two of My Hero Academia, as I'm hoping for Uraka in this style.
