LEGO is giving fans a chance to help decide one of the upcoming Ultimate Collector Series LEGO Star Wars sets! There are three models to choose from, but you can only vote once for one model. So choose wisely!

The three models are as follows:

Nebulon B Escort Frigate

Originally intended for the Imperial Navy, these ships were used as convoy escorts and made their first appearance in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back and appear again, in Episode VI: Return of the Jedi and even in Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker.

TIE Bomber

Like a big brother version of the TIE Fighters, these ships were created to destroy large starships and not for fast paced combat. With dual hulls, one for the pilot and one for the warhead launchers, this ship features in both Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back and Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.

Republic Gunship

Who can forget the epic moment these ships dropped into the arena carrying the clones in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones during the Battle of Geonosis, rescuing Padmé and Jedi from Count Dooku.

This vote will be open until January 30th, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. CEST (4a.m. EST). CLICK HERE to cast your vote now.

Voted for the Nebulon B frigate because they haven't already made one.

Same here, same reason.

Last week, LEGO asked fans to help choose the next Ultimate Collector Series Star Wars LEGO Set, and the winner has been announced.

With over half of the votes, the Republic Gunship!

In second place, the Nebulon B Escort Frigate.

And in 3rd place, the TIE Bomber.

They also reveal that three lucky voters have been randomly drawn and they will be receive the UCS Republic Gunship (as and when it is released), as well as a 75255 LEGO Star Wars Yoda!

The other 2 aren't as iconic as the Republic Gunship (though still great ships), so I felt this was inevitable. Bet the LEGO designers are breathing a sigh of relief knowing they don't have to try convert the complicated design of the Nebulon B into LEGO form!

There's a difference between iconic and favorite among millennial prequel fans.

There's no doubt that millennial prequel fans played a massive part in the Gunship being chosen, but it was one of the few ships from the prequel trilogy that featured so heavily in merchandise and on-screen. The Nebulon looks like a generic sci-fi ship and even those that have a passing knowledge of Star Wars wouldn't be likely to identify as a Star Wars spaceship, and while the bomber is very similar in design to one of the most iconic star wars ships it hasn't been favoured so much in merchandise or even on-screen. So when it comes down to it it's a choice between a ship heavily favoured by merchandise and very recognisable (even if only to the millennials) or a ship lacking in the popularity needed to win. Not to mention the fact that millennials are now reaching the age where they are managing their own finances and can now afford adult-targeted collectibles, so it is only inevitable that they played such a pivotal role in this.
