G.I. Joe: Snake-Eyes Movie Starts Production In Japan

The official G.I. Joe movie twitter page revealed that the upcoming G.I. Joe: Snake-Eyes movie has begun production in Japan. The movie is slated to be released on October 23, 2020.

The G.I. Joe spinoff follows Snake Eyes, who, while on the hunt for the man who murdered his father, travels to Japan and trains with the ancient Arashikage ninja clan.

The Snake Eyes movie is being directed by Robert Schwentke and stars Henry Golding as Snake Eyes, Samara Weaving as Scarlett, Ursula Corbero as The Baroness and Andrew Koji as Snake Eyes’ brother and enemy, the ninja Storm Shadow.

Hasbro just gave Jazwares the GI Joe license, if there is a toyline to go with the movie, it might be made by Jazwares

Not so fast pal. Yes they got the license BUT is uncertain for what kind of merchandise the can make... Hasbro is still working on new GI Joe merchandise (Figures) under their own umbrella...

I'm not terribly excited for this movie, but I'm also not gonna dismiss it outright, I'll wait and see for any developments and see how it turns out.
