Recommended Posts

The CW released the synopsis for the upcoming female-centric Arrow spinoff featuring the new Green Arrow Mia Smoak (Katherine McNamara), as well as the two Canaries (Katie Cassidy and Juliana Harkavy), Laurel Lance and Dinah Drake.  The Arrow episode will be the backdoor pilot installment and will air Tuesday, January 21st at 8:00/7:00 Central.

It's the year 2040 in Star City and Mia Queen (Katherine McNamara) has everything she could have ever wanted. Laurel and Dinah are tracking a kidnapping victim with direct ties to Mia and they need her help. Knowing it will change everything, Mia can't help but be a hero and she, Laurel and Dinah suit up once again to save the city.

Tara Miele directed the episode written by Beth Schwartz & Marc Guggenheim & Jill Blankenship & Oscar Balderrama (#809).

Original Airdate: 1/21/2020

Love it. I want to give all these shows a chance, and I’m already invested in the world/cast.

Ah! Another superhero TV series from the man who ruined superhero TV series.'

Still, maybe we'll get lucky and this one will be more Batwoman than Supergirl.

I am sure that this will suck. Like Supergirl and Batwoman that so far is a tiny bit better that SG, mas still awful. Ruby Rose can't act.

So.., since it's in 2040, Green Arrow Beyond?

Also, since it seems like 2 Carney's from actors who apparently have played them in this Arrowverse, is it due to time travel or alternation dimension thanks to Legends Of Tomorrow?  I suppose we don't really know right now since we still have to wait for the last half of the Crisis event to air.

For the record, I've not really watched any of these Arrorverse shows, except for maybe at least 2 episodes of Supergirl, so my knowledge is limited.
