As a kid: Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Legion of Doom

In high school: Sting, Shawn Michaels, Ultimo Dragon, Lex Luger

In college: Goldberg, Scott Steiner, Rob Van Dam, Buff Bagwell

In my 20s: John Cena, Batista, Chris Benoit, Edge

In my 30s/current: AJ Styles (TNA), Jeff Hardy, Shinsuke Nakamura, Braun Stroman

Started watching in the mid 90’s so

as a kid: Stone Cold Steve Austin, Chris Jericho and DDP

stopped watching in high school, you know chasing girls and what not

got back into it around 08-09: Beer Money, AJ Styles, and Samoa Joe

now at 31: AJ Styles, Danial Bryan(still really enjoy watching him in ROH as the American Dragon Bryan Danielson) Chris Jericho, and Adam Cole

Eddie Guerrero, Bret Hart and Undertaker are always great to go back and watch but really where great during times when I wasn’t watching

Back in the 90s, Sable and Steve Blackman.

There was also this other guy. I believe he was called the Godfather or something. He was a black guy who's somewhat racist gimmick was that he was supposed to be a kind of wrestling pimp. He would come to the ring surrounded by these beautiful, scantily clad women ( his "Ho's"), and always extend the same offer to his scheduled opponent. They could either fight him (". . . and make no mistake, I WILL kick yo' @$$"), or forfeit the match and choose one of the "Ho's" to spend the night with. (Yeah, the Attitude Era was basically soft-core porn at times).

Nowadays, I'm mostly about the female wrestlers: Pre Heel-Turn Bayley, Ronda Rousey (all-time favorite), Charlotte Flair, and I'm starting to get into Sonya Deville.

I have been watching and a fan since around the Royal Rumble that was before WrestleMania 4.

I'm too old and been watching too long to remember what years were what and who was around. These days I look back at who was around in the past and I like more wrestlers now than I did then I think just because I respect past wrestlers for what they did.

Some I remember liking early on were Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Ultimate Warrior, Texas Tornado, Bret Hart and then I kind of skipped to WCW and Liked Dean Malenko a lot.

My all time favorite would be Trish Stratus. We kind of know each other and have stayed in touch a bit since she retired years ago.

Today, like Mako, I'm more into the women. I really like NXT. I check out AEW here and there. I at least keep up on Impact, ROH, MLW, New Japan and some others.

I have done a lot of wrestling fan art in the past and still do some in the present.

as far as the current product, I don't watch a lot of raw or smackdown, I keep up with results online. NXT is an easy watch and full of good performers. I wold like to see more AEW but just haven't carved out the time.

Question: whats everyone's favorite submission match?

Really happy to see Drew get the win. He seems like he could be a good matchup with Brock. Seeing Edge come back was great and after Raw I can't wait to see how things unfold with Randy on the way to Wrestlmania.

Edge and Randy Orton, former tag team partners but Orton gave Edge a RKO outta nowhere and a Conchairto.

Raw sucked last night. 3 matches lasted less than 90 seconds, Asuka won again and Ricochet won Triple Threat for a title shot against Brock Lesnar even though he has been jobbing for months now. They also kept talking about the Super Bowl and the snowstorm outside the arena.

In Saudi Arabia, Goldberg beat Bray Wyatt with 4 Spears and a Jackhammer to win the WWE Universal Championship. On Smackdown, Roman Reigns challenged him for a title match at Wrestlemania. Goldberg? Main eventing Wrestlemania in 2020?

Looks like things died around here.  That's a shame.  I do so love my pro wrestling.  I've been watching since I was old enough to sit and watch TV, so almost 4 decades now.  I've seen the Rock n Wrestling era give way to the Attitude era to Ruthless Aggression ... and so on and so on.  My favorites have varied over the years, but never seemed to go along the with the norm.  I guess I've always been a bit of a 'smart fan,' having been able to predict most of the big matches throughout the years based on how I saw the 'business' was going.  The last few years have been brutal for me though because it seems like WWE has no clue what they're doing with their product.

As for some current news, it looks like WWE sold their Network content to NBC's Peacock streaming service for an estimated $1 Billion.  Not sure how I feel about this.  I know it can expand their subscription base since they only had about 1 million Network subscribers and Peacock already has around 20 million.  So, more eyes on the product(?).  Or is this just another big cash grab coming right before they have their annual shareholder meeting/report?

I was an eighties baby so I watched it from the days of Virgil and Headshrinkers etc - my favourite wrestler was always Jake and I even got a snake and named it Jake, haha. Then I lost interest in about 94/95 and became obsessed with football instead. I never revisited it until recently after going through a lot of very deep personal stuff for a very long time, I decided to try doing some self healing by revisiting the fonder parts of my childhood and so I've watched some wrestling stuff and bought some a couple toys a sticker album. Also managed to actually find my original 92 sticker album from when I was a kid as well which seems to be the only thing I have from when I was a kid which is weird but yeah, any way, I just bought myself a Jake the Snake mug so I can reconnect with my innocence whenever I sip some cha, ha.
