Director Patty Jenkins will drop the first trailer for 'Wonder Woman 1984' on Sunday, December 8th @ 12:30 PM PST.  As a sneak preview, Warner Bros. has dropped a teaser for the movie through their Wonder Woman Twitter account.

Fast forward to the 1980s as Wonder Woman’s next big screen adventure finds her facing an all-new foe: The Cheetah.  “Wonder Woman 1984” will be helmed by acclaimed director Patty Jenkins, and star Gal Gadot in the title role.

As previously announced, the film also stars Kristen Wiig in the role of the Super-Villain The Cheetah, as well as Pedro Pascal. And Chris Pine returns as Steve Trevor.

Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder, Patty Jenkins, Stephen Jones and Gal Gadot are producing the film. Rebecca Roven Oakley, Richard Suckle, Wesley Coller, Geoff Johns and Walter Hamada are the executive producers.

Set to open in theaters June 5th, 2020, “Wonder Woman 1984” is based on the character created by William Moulton Marston, appearing in comic books published by DC Entertainment.

So far it just looks like the same action scene from Justice League but Blue Monday by the end really set the good tone imo. I am pretty excited despite some rumors that movie is  modern equivalent of Superman Quest for Peace.

WW and Aquaman were enjoyable movies, I’m hoping the sequels follow the trend. While I prefer Marvel characters, I don’t want the DCEU to fail. Entertainment is entertainment. Definitely getting a Ragnarok vibe from the teaser.

Was anticipating this trailer for a long time. Not disappointed in what I saw, love that this takes place in 1984, I think maybe Steve Trever is a clone of some sort? Can't wait for this movie to hit.

Gotta say that I am impressed. They obviously came a long way since the first one and can easily tp that one as the best DCEU movie so far.  I am very hopeful for that Black Widow and Wonder Woman will have great movies next year and I can't wait for it.

Also that means more action figures! I am sure Medicom will make the Golden Armor version with Wings and all, but prepare your wallets because it won't be cheap;

Big big fan of the use of blue monday by new order in the trailer. Perfect 80s.

 the costumes, the lasso, and Wonder Woman riding the lightening, its looks beautiful. the "it's just a trashcan" part seems perfectly time with the whole craziness of the $120k duck taped banana
