Deadline is reporting that Legendary Television has closed an rights agreement deal with Frank Miller and is looking to close a deal with Robert Rodriguez to turn the Sin City franchise into a television series.  This would reunite Miller and Rodriguez since they co-directed the 2005 film.

Miller and Rodriguez are expected to be executive producers with Legendary Television. Also to produce is Stephen L’Heureux, a producer of the 2014 sequel Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, and Silenn Thomas, who heads Miller’s production company.

The main deal is for Legendary to guarantee a first season of the show and set it up with a network or streaming platform.  Within this deal, Miller would also obtain the rights for a Hard-R animated series for a Sin City prequel based on Miller’s graphic novels.
