Netflix's 'The Witcher' Has Been Renewed For Season Two

Netflix has announced via Twitter that a second season of 'The Witcher' has already been renewed even before the first season premiere on December 20th, 2019.

The series which stars Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, a traveling monster slayer for hire will consist of an eight-episode adaptation of the global best-selling fantasy novel series by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, which has also been developed into a popular fantasy action role-playing video game.

Based on the best-selling fantasy series, The Witcher is an epic tale of fate and family. Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts. But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent together.
