Warner Bros is negotiating with Colin Farrell and Andy Serkis for roles in the Matt Reeves-directed The Batman.  Farrell is up for the role of The Penguin and Serkis would play Bruce Wayne’s butler Alfred Pennyworth.

If both deals close, they will add to the cast of Robert Pattinson as Batman, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon, Paul Dano as The Riddler and Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman.

I could see both of these actors really knocking it out of the park with those roles. Honestly it’s Batman they could cast Jonah Hill as Batman and I would still see it

Now the James Bond fan in me is holding on to hope that we get Pierce Brosnan as the Earth One style Alford. I would even be fine if they brought Jeremy Irons back.

As that would make the movie more interesting. It won't. So now I guess Alfred will be CGI right? Stole that joke from someone else.

This movie is a stillborn.
