John Wesley Shipp Returning For The CW 'Crisis On Infinite Earths' Crossover Event

Recommended Posts

TV Insider has confirmed with The CW that John Wesley Shipp will be appearing in the upcoming five-part "Crisis on Infinite Earths" Arrowverse crossover, which begins this December on The CW.

Shipp played Barry Allen on the original The Flash series in 1990-91 on CBS and also played on The Flash both as Henry Allen and Jay Garrick, the Flash of Earth-2.  His last appearance as The Flash of Earth-90 in last year’s Elseworlds crossover. He vanished during a battle with the Anti-Monitor in that storyline.

Sources are not saying what role Shipp will be playing but we believe he'll be playing some form of The Flash once again.

I was resisting, but this tears it. I'm gonna have to watch this turkey (but I'll hate myself in the morning).

Not gonna lie, I loved watching 90s Flash on the Sci-Fi Channel as a kid. The later seasons of Arrow and Flash lost me, but this may pull me back in.
