Jyushin Thunder Liger : a living legend and role model to many of today’s wrestlers. He made his first appearance in New Japan Pro-Wrestling as Liger in 1989, at the first ever wrestling event inside the Tokyo Dome. Displaying strength usually seen in heavyweight contenders, Liger holds the record for most IWGP Jr. Heavyweight titles won at 11. His iconic outfit and techniques have inspired many around the world and impacted the way pro-wrestling has evolved to this day. In 2019, after a 30 year legacy, Liger announced his retirement in the same arena that he debuted in- the Tokyo Dome- in January 2020.

Storm Collectibles is releasing another variant for their Jyushin Thunder Liger 1/12 figure. For those not familiar, Jyushin Thunder Liger made his first appearance in New Japan Pro-Wrestling as Liger in 1989, at the first ever wrestling event inside the Tokyo Dome. Displaying strength usually seen in heavyweight contenders, Liger holds the record for most IWGP Jr. Heavyweight titles won at 11. In 2019, after a 30 year legacy, Liger announced his retirement in the same arena that he debuted in- the Tokyo Dome- in January 2020.

This is the third version of this figure being released by Storm Collectibles. It's not known if it will be made available through any US based etailers, but it will be available overseas at yahoo.co.jp.

This is a Ringside Collectibles exclusive and it's been available for a couple of weeks already. Also there's actually 4 versions now...this one, original version, black version and a blue version from a 90s WCW match with Ultimo Dragon that was an exclusive that had a really small production run.

Hers a pic of the 3 previous Ligers

I was just about to say that, made an account to clarify this.

But yes it's on Ringside Collectibles, a US etailer for wrestling and mma figures

It looks great, I'm not a fan, but I remember this guy spent a season in Mexico with the lucha company AAA back in the mid-90s. I didn't know he even had an anime series and also had a figure based on his anime version.

Wow I cant believe hes got 4 alts. Hes pretty much a fighting game character. Are these alt colors that demanded and loved? Ive seen plenty of collectors that do have multiple versions so has to if they are on their fourth.

Yeah, he is ideally suited for Storm since he's had a lot of variations on his costume and they could go on using that mold for years with nothing but pallet swaps. I think black was expected since he wore that a lot during the early 00s plus it looks badass but, the variant most people seem to want is Kishin Liger.
