Following the news from Powercon a few weeks ago about Super7's new line of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Ultimates figures which will include the likes of Raphael, Baxter Stockman Foot Soldier and Splinter in the first wave, we now have this new image to show you via the Four Horsemen who are sculpting the line. The image gives us a nice size comparison of the Raphael with the old vintage Playmates version the design is based on.

Nice comparison. I think looking at these new Super7 Turtles I'm really digging the look here. Can't wait to see the rest of the Turtles!

Frankly, I couldn't care less about the scale, but I would like to know the price.

Theyll probably be around the $45 price range since that's the price the Thundercat Classics Ultimates will be and Super 7 said this TMNT line will also be a Ultimates line (so Im thinking theyll be around the same price give or take $5)

Any comparison shots with Marvel Legends or NECA TMNT?

Im assuming this picture is staight from Super 7 or the 4 horsemen or someone that has to do with the line and since its pretty much a prototype they took the photo just to show people what the size scales next to the figures they are inspired by, but I dont really see them comparing other lines right now, maybe later though I dont think we'll see that sort of pictures till they actually come out and a collector reviews the figures.

I have feeling actual production figure might slightly different in size, and surely it I’ll be much different look wise, hopefully no shiny plastic look.

Since it's Super7, I'm sure they'll lose the shading on the final product anyway, but I'm really not a fan of that dark orange shading they put on the torso.

The rest of the figure looks great though. It's like they made the toy how you remember the original to be.

Looking forward to the end results and hoping the line will be successful enough to expand to the other iconic figures from the original line. Been very happy with what I’ve seen in the prototypes so far.

This looks fantastic, and the TMNT figures I've been waiting for, I really hope this line doesn't just scratch the surface and gives us some of the more odd ball characters (looking at you Mutagen Man and Wyrm)

I want these but with Super7 doing 4 different Ultimate figures per month it’s going to be hard to keep up with these.  That said I plan to try.

I’d be curious to see a poll or something indicating who plans on buying the NECA Turtles lines, who plans on buying the Super 7 Turtles line, and who plans on buying both (I guess we could throw Playmates into that equation too). Personally I plan to pick up the NECA lines (presuming I find them at the store) and this Super7 line but if I had to pick only one or the other I’d end up going with NECA.

Playmates I usually start off saying I’m not going to collect, but then they end up going on sale and deep discount so I end up grabbing them. So I guess I end up collecting all of them too just not as actively.

I've actually been thinking along these lines. Unfortunately, there have been no comparison picks between the Neca and Super 7 lines, so I don't know if they're even compatible. If they were, I'd pull the trigger on Splinter and Baxter in a New York minute.
