7" Conan the Barbarian Movie Figures From Super7 Debut At PowerCon 2019

Besides doing comic book based Conan The Barbarian figures, it looks like Super7 will also be doing 7" scale figures based on the classic Arnold Schwarzenegger movie. Shown below are images via Pixel-Dan of three of the figures they are doing including one of Arnold himself. These figures are on display at this weekends PowerCon convention.

Wow these look really good, I hope they make more figures in this line like Thulsa Doom (James Earl Jones), Valeria and Subotai as well, maybe variant of the three heroes in their camuflage colors when they infiltrate the temple of set, and id go nits if they made King Conan figure

I really hope they get all their QC and CS issues worked out before they go making Thulsa Doom.

If they havent fixed those in like 3 years of making MOTUC figures I doubt they will any time soon, all we have is to hope these figures come out looking good and not the shiny plastic cross eyed freaks that sometime come out of Super 7's motuc figures

The shiny plastic comes out in their Club Grayskull stuff with the exception of Lodar & Hawke from Collector's Choice. These Conan figures will likely remain as seen here.

I guess that explains the previous MARVEL Conan license. Now this is the Conan one I want along with the much later Mezco Frank Frazetta version.

These are still prototipes, and hand painted which usually give the figures more matted colors, once the figures come to production, with cost cutting measures they tend to mold the plastic in the color they need and just paint on the details (this usually happens with super 7 all around because of the plastics they use) hopefully this wont be the case with these figures cause or more realistic figures like these a matte finish looks a lot better

Yes, let's hope Super 7 won't do what they frequently do. That'll work out well.  Everything's fine.

Thulsa Doom huh? if the price on these are anything like the MOTU figures then I'm doomed. Just too pricey for me. Call me cheap.

You're cheap.  But maybe I am, too, because I won't spend more than $35-$40 on individual 7" figures, and even those have much better paint, detail, and QC than Super 7.

That's my price limit as well, I don't go higher than that.

Now we need a Red Sonja

I’m 100% in agreement but I’m guessing that’s considered a different license that would require a different license agreement.  Still it could happen.
