I got the whole line of the Mafex DOJ figures and I picked up the Tactical Batman and Superman from JL. The DOJ figures you can get for a good price these days, but the JL figures are pricey. They definitely look good though. Your mileage may vary on whether or not they're worth the price. If you got them on an import site they were cheaper, but that $90 price is a tough pill to swallow.

Personally, I think that 75% of them are still better than most modern companies.  They are fantastic additions to my collection and display, I feel like there’s probably not anybody else that could do them justice in the way that toybiz did, and get so many characters out there.  

 

Im not even sure if the popularity is still there.  I know it’s a massive name and everyone knows it, but with all of the product we get from current franchises, would that consumer drive be there?

Maybe if the Amazon Prime Series is a hit, somebody could start doing stuff from that and if successful, move into ‘classic’ characters

I would not buy the BVS figures.  The QC at that time wasn't the best.  The Superman is aweful compared to the JL version.  His skin tone is way off.  The Batman is pretty good.  

I still own the WW, and it is one my least favorite import figures.  I would recommend purchasing the SHF version instead.
