If this is true I do Iike the lineup for Wave 1 of DC Comics figures from Mcfarlane Toys. I do hope we get more Films and TV Figure like a Christopher Reeve Superman , a Brandon Routh Kingdom Come Superman from CW'S Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover and Supergirl from her CW Supergirl tv series also a Henry Cavill Superman figure as well. And all the DC Animated series I want figures from all those series released too. DC Comics comic book based figures I wish they would stick to the modern comics for figures but will see anything can happen. Excited for these figures.

So I've gotten some more details on the Walmart front from Overlord Dracus.

Looks like there will be two main assortments released. A DC Universe figure assortment and a Batman themed figure assortment. The Batman assortment will have the Modern Batman, Animated Batman and Hellbat figures, while the DC Universe assortment will have the Arrow, Harley and Superman figures.  There will be 6 figures in the cases, don't know the breakdown.

Looks like we will see these on shelves by next month, at least at Walmart. The effective date is actually today 12/15/19 but likely Walmarts wont start stocking them until Jan when they do their shelf resets.

For Spinmaster stuff also look for a Batman assortment, a Batmobile and some Batman roleplay items. No idea on scale and such but all that is gonna be geared more for the kids.

UPDATE: Overlord Dracus did some more digging and has sent word of the following for the pending DC Comic McFarlane figures.

Looks like there will be two main assortments released. A DC Universe figure assortment and a Batman themed figure assortment. The Batman assortment will have the Modern Batman, Animated Batman and Hellbat figures, while the DC Universe assortment will have the Arrow, Harley and Superman figures. There will be 6 figures in the cases but we don't know the breakdown.

The chances are looking very strong that we will see these on shelves by next month, at least at Walmart stores. The effective date for these is listed for today 12/15/19 which means we could start seeing these arriving in stores anytime now, but most Walmart stores likely wont start stocking them on shelves until they do their shelf resets in January. Here are the UPC#'s listed for the figures. All but the Harley Quinn movie figure are listed on the Walmart website now though they aren't available for purchase and no images are available at this time.

- SKU: 820879925 UPC: 787926150018 DC 7" MODERN BATMAN DELUXE FIGURE

- SKU: 414245392 UPC: 787926156010 DC 7" ARMORED BATMAN HELLBAT DELUXE FIGURE

- SKU: 446797481 UPC: 787926155013 DC 7" BATMAN ANIMATED DELUXE FIGURE

- SKU: 733107468 UPC: 787926151121 DC 7" GREEN ARROW DELUXE FIGURE

- SKU: 742049028 UPC: 787926155020 DC 7" SUPERMAN ANIMATED DELUXE FIGURE

- SKU: 637455877 UPC: 787926150025 DC 7" MODERN SUPERMAN DELUXE FIGURE

- SKU: 445240813 UPC: 787926156027 DC 7" ARMORED SUPERMAN UNCHAINED DELUXE FIGURE

SKU: 557109848 UPS: 78792615801 DC 7" Movie Harley Quinn

Based on the Walmart website listings these do appear to be 7" figures and the cost should be $20 each. As per usual with this type of thing, until McFarlane officially confirms these or we see them actually on shelves, we will keep all this in the rumor category for now.

Hey, if that Walmart price was accurate, then I may owe Big Mac a coke.

I'm just not used to prices going down.

I think "cost" number of $12.99 there isn't how much they sell it for, but how much they bought it for from McFarlane.  The "sell" number next to it ($19.87) lines up with what they usually charge for $19.99 MSRP 6-7" figures.

Yeah, I was actually talking about the quoted "19.87" price on the actual Walmart product page.

Now, the prices may very well go up when the figures actually street, but until then it looks like they'll be selling for a good 12 cents below usual MSRP (never sneeze at a penny), and possibly WELL below where ML prices could end up if Hasbro's rumored price hike proves kosher.

I've confirmed with an additional retail source outside Walmart the street date for these is January. Dont know if McFartlane will get around to officially announcing these with images before hand but def looks like these will be on hand soon.

Seems surprising that McF would have these hitting stores this soon with no announcements or reveals.  Seems like they’d want/need to promote this more.

You would think but could be a number of factors at play as to why they haven't. Warner Bros for whatever reason might be holding things up, maybe because red tape with Mattel. Maybe they aren't officially aloud to promote the stuff until 1/1/2020. Another reason could be just timing. If these figures were put on the fast track to be made and ready for release by the first of the year then its possible they just haven't had time to take promo images yet.

Oh yes, out of all these figures i might be looling forward for the modern and animated Batman figures, probably even the movie Harley Quinn probably.

But we'll see eventually

Edit: however I'd obviously be more excited to see if McFarlane plans to do any Batgirl figure, i mean it can happen but who knows... Yeh, really a Batgirl nut myself hehe.

This is just the beginning, we know there was one in the plans and I'd bet we will see her later.

Hopefully :)

I've actually been thinking about that. I wonder if it has something to do with the fact the license doesn't technically change hands until 2020.

One thing that bothers me is why don't go for 6 inch scale. DC Collectibles made Icons that were not  actually american 6 inch and them shifted to 6.75 inches which is weird too and Mattel was the actually the one that made figures close to let's just say "marvel legends scale"

Sure. They might thing that all their other licenses are made in 7 inch, but people always want to match their DC with their Marvel figures

That could be right. By the time of Toy Fair they will have the new license running and will show their stuff "officially", but a whole wave could be totally made and ready to ship just waiting for the license to change hands.

Well, there goes my interest in this line. I was really expecting we'd get a good 6" line from McFarlane, since Mattel failed to deliver. I may get a couple of figures, but that's it, especially since McFarlane stuff is double the price in Mexico.

Hopefully we'll see some promo images before the end of the year, or they may do something similar to what happened with that Heavy Mandalorian figure that was announced and available for purchase basically the same day.

I think the earliest we will see promo images is the first of the year which is just over a week away. I still think there is a likelyhood we will see in-hand images first of someone who takes pics of them from a Walamrt storeroom than before we see the official images
