Shown below are official images and details for the 11th and 12th wave of 6.5" Dragon Ball Z Dragon Stars figures coming from Bandai America. Both waves are available for pre-order now at BigBadToyStore.com.

The Dragon Stars series is comprised of the most highly detailed and articulated figures in the Dragon Ball line. Standing at 6 1/2" and having 16 or more points of articulation and additional hands, these figures can be posed in hundreds of positions. The ongoing collectible series will include many characters from Dragon Ball's rich history.

Wave 11 Includes:
- Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta figure (Pair of alternate hands)
- Super Saiyan 2 Gohan figure (Pair of alternate hands)
- Majin Buu Final Form figure (3 Alternate hands)

Wave 12 Includes:
- Android 18 figure (Pair of alternate hands)
- Super Saiyan Broly figure (Pair of alternate hands)
- Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks figure (3 Alternate hands)

The updated articulation looks much better than older figures.  I especially like 18 and Buu.  I hope Dragon Stars updates their ankle and chest articulation.

Also Broly is way too short according to BBTS he is only 6.5 in.

I kinda wanted to try these out but the lack of effect pieces discourages me.

I just hope the new molds here will be better than Cell. He looks good at least and his arms are fine but the rest of the articulation kinda sucks. I know not to to expect the most amazing toys ever but I was disappointed with Cell.

And yeah, if they're not going to be doing any more build a figures then they should at least have some effects parts or something.

Overall though it's still a really good way to get the characters for pretty cheap. Especially with how many they've made so far. Trying to get some of the Figuarts on the aftermarket is just crazy. I even tried to preorder from Amiami and the like and they sell out so quickly that I don't even bother trying anymore. I'm not too crazy about collecting Dragon Ball figures though so these suit my needs well enough.
