Funko Announces First Round Of 2019 SDCC Exclusives

Recommended Posts

Funko today announced the first two what I am sure will be many 2019 San Diego Comic Con exclusives with this Toucan Mascot – Pop! Ad Icons and Pop! PEZ along with Pop! Batman with an SDCC bag.

Its said that Funko will have over 75 SDCC exclusive vinyl figures this year and will be launching a second  30×10 SDCCxFunko Booth #3249 which will sell their merchandise.

I buy a lot of exclusives at SDCC each year.  Like a lot, a lot.  Every year I usually have about 20+ different booths on my list I’m trying to hit up and buy stuff from on Preview night.  And every year I’m pretty successful (teamwork helps) and I’m able to get in all the lines and buy all of those exclusives and knock out that complete checklist by Thursday morning and before things start to sell out.  All but Funko, that is.  Funko has year after year been the one booth where despite being there in person at the convention I’ve repeatedly been unable to successfully get in the line and/or buy all the exclusive I had on my list from them and thus they are the one booth where despite being there in person and paying all the hotel and transportation costs, etc I still have had to look to the after market for anything I really wanted from them.  Luckily I’m not a huge Funko collector thus it’s usually only a couple of items I’m looking for, but still it sucks that they are always the one booth that keeps me from having a 100% success rate when it comes to buying exclusives at the show.  So I’m really hoping this year Funko doesn’t reveal anything I really feel like I want.
