I liked this movie, too.  Saw Mezco's Kong in San Diego and it is very impressive in person, but I don't think it's something I'd collect, either.

Holy smokes this looks awesome, the right height at "18 tall, the sculpt on this guy is fantastic. 

Ultimates don't think I will get him, so much goodness to save up for but if you're into this movie this would make an awesome addition to the collection!

It looks great, but I’m happy with my Mezco 6” scale version. Much easier to display while still maintaining the awesome sculpt.

$250? The hell kind of plastic is it made of to be that high? I know it’s 18” and all but geesh $250? Mezco must think collectors desperately want a Kong figure.

Man where would you put this thing? It's huge! Are there any Godzilla figures in the same scale? 
I could just get the smaller version and have that square off with my Neca Godzilla figures.
