DC Universe's Swamp Thing - Reveal Teaser Trailer

Check out the first official teaser for "Swamp Thing," the new original streaming series on DC Universe, which is inspired by the iconic DC comic book character created by Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson.  The new original series is set to premiere on May 31st.

Based on the DC characters originally written and drawn by Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson, SWAMP THING, a new DC Universe original series, follows Abby Arcane (Crystal Reed) as she investigates what seems to be a deadly swamp-born virus in a small town in Louisiana but soon discovers that the swamp holds mystical and terrifying secrets. When unexplainable and chilling horrors emerge from the murky marsh, no one is safe.

Swamp Thing stars Andy Bean, Derek Mears, Crystal Reed, Maria Sten, Jeryl Prescott, Virginia Madsen, Will Patton, Kevin Durand, Jennifer Beals, Ian Ziering, Leonardo Nam

The DC Universe series being executive produced by James Wan along with Mark Verheiden, Gary Dauberman, Michael Clear and Len Wiseman. The show is based on DC characters created by Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson.

It looks like Warner Bros. has ordered the Swamp Thing team to cease production with three episodes still left unfilmed.

Scuttlebut is WB has come to the same conclusion YouTube did, trying to force their way into the pay-streaming game, might not have been the greatest idea. Of course, it's a big stretch going from an episode cut (hardly Earth-Shattering) to shuttling down WBs pet project for the last couple of years.
