Great review and definitely agree that Kong should have a base of some sort, like McFarlane’s Movie Maniacs Kong. Despite that, I’m still trying to get this figure. Love the design and detail.

Such a pimp looking figure of the King, himself... If I can ever find or afford him, he’d go right next to my McFarlane Kong, on a shelf.

The McFarlane Kong is still my favorite Kong Figure. The classic 1933 look with just a little artistic license for style. Would love to have the Mezco join him and have a modern depiction on display.
