Well, WWE Universe action figure completists, it's "time to face the facts." WWE's very own undisputed loser, Curt Hawkins, makes his Elite figure debut with two different ring gear colors. Trained by ECW original Mikey Whipwreck, Curt Hawkins made his wrestling debut in 2004 and has been an active wrestler ever since.

We want to extend our thanks to Mattel for these review samples.

Mattel has graced us with not just one, but two Curt Hawkins Elite figures. Honestly, it took me a few minutes to even notice that they were in fact different. With one just having black pants instead of blue. The repaint seems a bit unnecessary, but sometimes being a completist is a dangerous slope. I don't feel this "chase figure" is required. His New York Mets color inspiration is what you would normally see him wearing.

The packaging is the standard Elite fair that we come to expect from Mattel, showing the figure within and an image of Curt Hawkins in the upper right corner.

Taking the figure out of the package, he comes packed with two extra hands and a large WWE Raw breakaway sign, which is an awesome prop to throw the fact bringer through, as well as his cane/walking stick.  The sign has two leg rests that support it upright so toys can be thrown through it. Since Hawkins is a lover of old school ECW, having packed with a breakaway sign really harkens back to the hardcore days.

The toy itself looks exactly like Hawkins. That shouldn't be a surprise as the Elite series has amazing face scans.

The figure retains all the points of articulation you have come to expect from the Elite collection.  Head turns, shoulders, elbow, and wrist all move freely and the inclusion of extra hands are a nice addition to the figure since he does come with a "weapon" he can hold.
There's ab crunch, waist turn, hip joints, double knee joints, boot cuts and ankle articulation as well.  Overall, the figure has a wide range of movement, which is to be expected, but not technically needed, for the undefeated loser.

If you are not a wrestling fan, I don't know how I can recommend this figure since Hawkins is a guy who has almost lost his place over the past few years. His current position is almost as a joke, which devalues young fans from wanting to own him.  But, if you are a wrestling fan, this figure works with other figures in your 6 inch collection.

Overall, he is a 2 out of 5.

Thank you again to Mattel for the samples.
