The CW and DC Comics have revealed the first look of Jon Cryer as DC villain Lex Luthor.

As we previously reported that Cryer will debut in Supergirl’s 15th episode this season, entitled “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” on Sunday, March 17th.  In it, Lex Luthor reaches out from prison to enlist Lena (Katie McGrath) into one of his plans and will stop at nothing to get her on board, even if that means leveraging the life of one of her friends.

So is this JUST going to be Lex, or maybe thinly veiled Trump parody Lex, Gay Lex, Tranny Lex, or maybe Misogynistic Pedophile Lex (Berlanti doesn't have one of those yet)?

He's going to be Lenny Luthor all growed up.  They're just calling him Lex right now to throw us off the scent.  Kinda like what Paramount tried to do with John Harrison/Khan Noonien Singh in the PR for Star Trek Beyond.

O Dude! He has GOT to say: "Lena, I've always considered you the Dutch-Elm Disease of our family tree."

SJWs be hung, I would start watching this train wreck again just to hear Jon Cryer get to deliver that line.

I have heard some people calling her Socialjusticegirl. Seriously, I understand from where they come from. They have the right to their opinion and stuff like everybody else.  Most of the things they think and say are based on false premises. But that aside, I couldn't care less about the opinion of the creators, the thing that bothers me is that their political agenda is way bigger than the show.  They base every single aspect of it in this ideology. The plots are mostly weak and predictable.  Characters have no charisma and they always have  a lesson to teach or learn. They could make a show without all of that or at least pretend that is not there, like use it as a plot point once or twice. But every time is so annoying. . Flash sometimes gos through that road. Way less. Arrow and Legends you barely see. Actually Legends is the one that whatever they put there doesn't bother me, because I like the show. The stories are interesting. Actually is the best one to me.

I would actually watch the episode if he said that.

The look they’re going for is certainly interesting... But, I just cannot help thinking of Lenny Luthor. Which, is most decidedly not a good thing.

Yeah, no surprise there. Looks like they're going for the "Breaking Bad" thing.

Interestingly, in casting Cryer, they've played closer to the age range they SHOULD have gone with for Superman.

"Why do you look so young?"

"Kryptonians age slower than humans."

"Then why has Kara aged normally?"

"Because the show-runner is a schmuck."
