Paramount Pictures have released an extended TV promo and the new IMAX movie poster for the December 21st release of 'Bumblebee.'

On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.

Bumblebee stars Hailee Steinfeld, John Cena, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Jason Drucker, Abby Quinn, Rachel Crow, Ricardo Hoyos, Gracie Dzienny, Pamela Adlon, Kenneth Choi, John Ortiz

Bought the tickets today! I am gonna watch it tomorrow on regular 3D.  I really hope it's good. I have heard good things so far.

This movie has quickly become my most anticipated for the end of the year! I dunno when I’ll have the funds to actually see it, but I cannot wait to be able to!

By far the best one of all. The first 5 minutes is better than all of the previous ones combined. I am still dreaming  that a day will come and they will release a full feature film just like that.

Go see and you will understand.  I will not spoil your fun.

A few of my friends over on FB have been talking about it that way, as well... The only thing I’ve really paid any attention to is some of the screencaps from the trailers, of the very G1 looking bots, like Optimus, Soundwave and Shockwave. I LOVE the way they look, as it is. So it’s mad exciting to know that the movie itself plays much closer to that, as well.

Well, it only took them 6 movies to return to quality. Granted the 1st one was definitely acceptable and entertaining, but the others were just so bad. Glad to hear that this one returned to form and seems to be reinvigorating the franchise with new possibilities.

It actually retconned a lot of stuff.

To me is much more like a soft reboot.

I’m totally ok with that, Bay was pretty much retconning stuff in his own movies with absolutely no explanation whatsoever. Each movie opened with a new backstory of how long Transformers had interacted with Earth. It was probably for the best to go with a minor restart to clear up some of the mess.
