Netflix Greenlights 'Castlevania' Season 3

Recommended Posts

The second season of Castlevania was released on October 26th, 2018 on Netflix and it has already been greenlighted for a third season.  The streaming service broke the news via the show's social media page.

Your response to season 2 truly brings a bloody tear to this ancient vampire's eye. On this All Hallows' Eve, it's my honor to officially announce season 3! Without you, this never could have happened! #Castlevania
-Vlad Dracula Ţepeş

Inspired by the classic video game series, Castlevania is a dark medieval fantasy following the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan, trying to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad Dracula Tepes himself.

Season 2: As Dracula and his legion of vampires prepare to rid the world of humanity's stain, an unlikely trio of heroes dares to stand in their way.

The animated series is from Frederator Studios, a Wow! Unlimited Media company, written by best-selling author and comic book icon Warren Ellis and executive produced by Warren Ellis, Kevin Kolde, Fred Seibert and Adi Shankar.

Castlevania stars the voices of Richard Armitage, James Callis, Graham McTavish, Fred Tatasciore, Alejandra Reynoso, Tony Amendola, Matt Frewer, Emily Swallow

Nice! The show keeps getting better. I'd really like for someone to make a nice Alucard figure. He is such a cool character!

As we have posted here i the Forums, Diamond Select Toys has acquired the license to make Castlevania products. So, pretty soon you will be seeing some Castlevania Selects.  Since their Ghostbusters and Universal Monsters Selects are quite good, you can expect some nice products coming. Well articulated, with accessories and diorama pieces.

Loved season 1 despite being only a few episodes, but it effectively pulled me into the series. Really looking forward to finding the time to watch season 2, but I still have to finish Daredevil.

Oh, cool! I might have even seen that bit of news and forgotten about it. I've had a rocky history with poor QC from Diamond Select, I'll still hold out for a Bandai or import option unless their offering reviews well.
