The new five-minute-long newly-released extended trailer from the standalone DC movie, which follows the events of "Justice League" and focuses on Aquaman's adventurous quest to search for the mythical Trident of Poseidon, so he can unite the seven kingdoms of Atlantis and challenge his power-hungry half-brother, Orm (played by Patrick Wilson) for the throne.

From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, "Aquaman," starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime -- one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be ... a king.

Aquaman stars Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, Willem Dafoe, Nicole Kidman, Temuera Morrison, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Ludi Lin, Michael Beach, Dolph Lundgren, Randall Park, Graham McTavish

Release: December 21st, 2018

This movie is looking more and more promising. Ive always liked the underwater world of Atlantis and Ive liked what Ive seen in what they do with it in other Aquaman material like the Injustice games and shows. This potentially looks even better.

I was not excited for this at all. Then I got interested as the footage was being released, but now. I am sold.  I realy really hope that the actual movie is as good as this.

Wonder Woman will be though to beat, but maybe this is what WB need to get the DCEU back on its track. The visuals are great and Momoa is very funny. '

The good or bad thing, Idk, is that now I really feel like Aquaman is actually the Thor of DCEU, but more "mundane" because he has lived so many years among humans that he picked up all the maneirisms. He is like a mix of Thor and a Surf dude.

I’ve been all about Aquaman, from the word go... And thus far, have loved his appearances in Batman v Superman and Justice League. So, I have been a fair mite stoked to get a look at this movie. The first trailer hit my sweet spot, and awed me something fierce. This trailer, or clip, or whatever you want to call it, seemed a little bit long in the tooth, to me. But, I’m still pretty excited for the movie, in spite of that.

I think this extended trailer is WB’s way to show that this film is closer to Wonder Woman in theme and presentation. They definitely want to distance themselves from the duds and focus on the franchise builders...which is only Wonder Woman right now.

That makes a lot of sense... Speaking of Wonder Woman, I can’t wait for the sequel. After the first one, which knocked my socks off, as well as knowing that they’re bumping it up to the 1980s, I couldn’t be more stoked for it!
