Impressive, the joint system really works for this one. You can pull off some dynamic and recognizable poses. The articulation appears to blend right into the armor and design.

The articulation on this guy is nothing short of incredible, in how it allows for some incredibly dynamic poses... But, at the same time, I feel like he’s so busy. There is just so much going on with him. And, at least for me, that kind of detracts from any urge or considerations I might’ve had to pick him up.

I think the best thing I can say about this figure, is that he contrasts really well set against the Batman... But, I still can’t help but feel that both of them are way too busy, with a lot of the necessitated articulation grooves, and such. And Deathstroke himself just has so much going on, with him. I’m sure he’d probably look a lot better to me in person, in a hands-on approach. I don’t think the photography really sells it well enough, to me.

But that is the Revoltech thing. They sacrifice a lot of looks of the figure to get more articulation so you can do some crazy poses and have fun. Also people who enjoy toy photography have a lot of fun with those.

Since their first release that was Spider Man and Deadpool came right afterwards, I feel like they are making some effort to improve in the aesthetics and not sacrificing the thing that they are well known for with various degrees of success.  The Psylocke figure for instance looks amazing and one of the less gappy ones. Magneto is nice too.

So far this appears to be the best balance they have achieved so far.  I very cool option for people that missed the Mezco one. I would love to have that Batman if I could put my hands on a good custom cape.

Meh, I don’t think it’s really for me... I can appreciate the hell out of great articulation. But I much prefer as little seem breakage and visible lines as possible. The more there are, the less it tends to work for me.

Like I said is for everyone. I don't like it either.  The only reason that I didin't get the Wolverine is because Hasbro made the Tiger Stripe version so I am after that one know, but if they didn't make that, I wouçd consider pick the Revo one.

But Psylocke I am seriously considering.  This Deathstroke is the best thing that they did IMO.  If the DEapool was as good as this one, I would have gotten that. But now the Mafex is coming, so I am cool.

I feel like the Psylocke one is much more up my alley, most def... She didn’t seem nearly to have the same stop-gap articulation issues, as these guys do, for me. I’ll want to see her played around with in some reviews before I know if she’s going to be an actual want for purchase. But, just based on the preliminary photos of her, I’m definitely excited to see more of her!

Just to correct myself, Deadpool was actually the first one. So we are at No 11 now.  They improved a lot since then

Yea, I’m not fan of too many gaps either. Definitely like poseability, but don’t want the sculpt/look to be compromised too much for the sake of articulation.

Very much agreed... It’s kind of a shame that it’s such an uneven balance, with these two figures. At least, to me.

Deathstroke definitely looks superior to the Batman. The articulation blends better with his armor and features. Plus he doesn’t have the hang up of that articulated cape. I mistook the custom fabric cape as coming with the figure from the first review video. Has a huge impact on the overall appearance of the Batman figure.

I’m pretty much in agreement, with this... Although, I still think that there’s so much going on, between the accessories, chain mail and those articulation seems. But, it works better for Deathstroke, being that all of that stuff is usually synonymous with his character.

They always seem to take some really good promotional shots of their figures. Every time they reveal a new figure my finger is hovering over the preorder button, but once the figures come out and they get reviewed, the figures don't look as good in somebody's YouTube review. I wonder if he'll be that shiny on his armor when we see the finished product.
