Austin Powers Pop Vinyl Figures From Funko

Recommended Posts

The International Man of Mystery is back and ready to exponentially increase your collection’s groovy factor. Pop! Austin Powers looks devilishly handsome in his blue suit while secret agent Vanessa Kensington is deadly, gorgeous and ready to help Austin Powers face. Dr. Evil who of course is accompanied by Mr. Bigglesworth his cat. Austin Powers looks just as handsome in his red suit as a GameStop exclusive. Look for all of these to be released in August.

Props to pops to making sure every possible interest is covered for its customer base.

They covered bases that I never knew needed covering. Reminds me that Mcfarlane released two Austin Power series.

I’ve said before that I’m not much of a fan of Pops. Occasionally they put out a character that is stylized in such a way that I’ll kinda dig it. But, they’re few and far between. I kinda dig the looks of these. But, I doubt I’d actually ever buy ‘em.

I tried to collect the Ninja Turtles ones but everyone one I found had major paint and assembly defects and said nope Funko is not for me.

Yea, in a vast majority of the reviews I’ve seen of them — and, by vast majority, I mean the occasional Loot Box style unboxing video — they do seem to feature QC issues fairly frequently. The only ones I really want to get my hands on are the four leads from ‘Cowboy Bebop’. After that, I’m pretty much satisfied.

Can't get into the dot eyes. Prefer Dorbz design but don't think they took off no where near the level of pops.

I’ve seen some MOTU Dorbz cropping up in a few video reviews, not too long ago. I’m not really that into those, myself. But, I don’t think they’re completely out for the count, just yet. Even if they haven’t taken off, per se.

Have they made any ‘Wayne’s World’ Pops yet? Since it’d only be the two of them, Wayne and Garth, I might almost find myself considering picking those up. Or, better yet, how about ‘Blues Brothers’ Pops?

Nope just Mary Katherine Gallagher as seen in Superstar sniffing her pits.

Are you serious? They actually made one of those? ?

From the Scratch and Sniff Pop vinyl line celebrating the holidays last year.

Gawd, man... I’d love to see the numbers on how many of those actually sold.

^ I just can’t believe they would produce that particular Pop, in any quantity. ?

It seems like Funko should have made these already. Some of the obscure things they've made and they haven't fully explored Austin Powers yet?

Where do the Funko Pop collectors find the space for all these more obscure licenses ?
