This looks great, I've been collecting everything from Storm so far so this is a must get. I hope BBTS will have her up in the near future.

I've been stalking BBTS for the Pre-order as I won't be attending NYCC.

Yep, same here, shouldn't be too hard to snag, the SDCC Ermac is still available and I'd imagine a more popular figure, This version of Chun-Li is cool but I think the whole appeal to this outfit is its sex appeal which the figure version doesn't really have ?

Sex appeal can surprise you and bring additional sales creating a in demand figure.

Example Play Arts Kai Quiet selling out faster and being in more demand then any other Play Arts Kai Metal Gear V figure.

True but the Play Arts Kai is styled to look sexy whereas the Storm figures are more bulky and functional.

I would wager you have people into muscle men or women.

Well sure but this costume is specifically designed to look sexy and make the wearer look sexy and in most representations she does but in this figure she looks more bulky and almost "manish" Its still a great figure but I don't think too many people will buy her specifically for being a sexy looking figure like one would for a more curvy figure or even statue.

Some collectors might be into "manish".

So many fetishes.. also Chun Li has alot of fans that are crazy for anything with her. This figure is meant to accurately portray the source material while also being articulated to doing poses. Its not meant to be ironically "hawt" even tho this costume is deemed "hot" Chun Li by the Street Fighter Community. Now a Bishoujo statue, yes, that is something that is meant to be hot and a fap idol for those that need that extra whip.

Nah, just my personal opinion. Bishoujo statues are all about the sexy of the characters. Im also not a statue guy. The whip comment was a joke... a masturbatory kind.

What would it take to get you to purchase a Bishoujo statue ?

I mean its not that I cant find interest in the subject matter, its just hard to take care of them. I have a statue and it didnt take much to break a part of it... I also have those Masters of the Universe staction figures(statues) from NECA and didnt take much to break parts of them either.. Just a nice chuck of money to somehow find ways to break.

I thought the same way for a long time until I found one I just couldn't pass up and got addicted but your totally right, they are incredibly easy to break.

When you want action figures but they release stactions. Those were some dark MOTU days.

It was definitely shitty but the figures werent exactly articulated much, might as well have been statues. But The staction figures didnt really fit with the figures much at all. Im actually trying to get rid of them, which makes it hard to ship them if I were to sell them on ebay.

You are way late on selling the Stactions, I'd assume most of the demand for them went out the door with the release of Classics.

The figures were well sculpted with almost no articulation but they retailed for only $8, where the stactions I believe if I remember correct were around $25 retail.

Oh believe me, I know Im late. I wasnt even going to try to sell them online. I was thinking of selling them at my local toy shop. Stactions were $20 each. Im not sure what figures you are referring to that were $8. If you are referring to the classics, they are way more than that. All the masters figures are oddly distributed.

I'm referring to the 200X Mattel line that was sold at retail.

I thought the same thing! haha! It's an odd choice to not color the crotch piece. Or maybe it was intentional! haha

Its colored, just the shots are oddly side shots when her legs are open. Its a gold trimmed set of undies. I took a screen grab of her in SFV doing her super.
