Dude there are the animated Justice League figures I've been waiting for. I live in Canada  and the DC Universe service isn't available to me yet so if I didn't have an awesome friend in the U.S. it would have been off to evilBay to pay through the nose.

I'm really hoping they just release these with more accessories later and treat this as a timed exclusive. I'm not going to spend the money on the streaming service just to get some figures and a lot of the entertainment that's there I already own a hard copy of. The only new show I'd be interested in would be the new season of Young Justice.

Oh yeah, no doubt. I'm mostly 80's toys and Marvel Legends as well, but I did collect BTAS figures back in the 90's and have always had an affinity for that style (like so many other's do too). So the fact that I can now buy them with better, more cartoon accurate sculpting and greater articulation gets me jazzed up.

It is odd that they would make these figures exclusive to the streaming service, I know there are a lot of people who want these but its like they want you to pay for a service we don't need to buy figures that are generally $20-$24.

Well worth the investment. Do you see that articulation ?

The hard part to swallow is buying the sub and then the figures are about $28 each. The only way they're $25 is if you buy all eight at once. Seems like you should get a discount if you buy the sub, sort of a reward/incentive for signing up. Seems silly not to makes these a mass market release.

I never really got into this show while it was on so maybe thats why I don't see the appeal as much as the Batman Animated series figures. I just never could get used to the slight design choices and alterations they made to Batman and Superman.

No these cartoon styled toys with minimal articulation should be closer to a $12-$15 price point.

I'd be okay if these were $20 or under. I understand they are a specialty line and not a mass retail line, but it's not like DC Collectibles has to pay a licensing fee. If they're like the Batman Animated figures, most sculpts are unique and there's seems to be little re-use.

Why don't you go ahead and purchase them. Let the Animated Justice league warm your cozy shelves with their vibrant cartoon aesthetics.

Too busy spending my money on muted colored, face printed, actor specific Marvel Legends! (For real! I have a serious lack of focus when it's comes to collecting, and it's getting worse as I get older.)

You need to upgrade to muted colored, face printed, actor specific, with additional option part Marvel Figuarts

Ha! I've dipped my toes in that water! I have the figuarts Civil War Cap and Iron Man, Iron Man mark III and Justice League Wonder Woman and Batman. They are really awesome, even if they're a little pricey.

I’m largely impressed by these... But, the exclusivity and price point is a big time detractor. At most, maybe I’d want to get a Superman, just because he’s my all-time favorite superhero. But, I already know I couldn’t afford the lot of them, and that’s before you factor in needing to sign up for their service. Bollocks.

Considering the paywall they’re locked behind, and their overall price point — even as somebody who lives in the states, they’re still pretty impossible to snag. It’s very cool though that you have a friend that can help you out, since the service isn’t available to you.
