For those who missed out on NECA's 2018 SDCC exclusive 7" Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 90's Movie figures, it looks like you will be getting a second chance at those figures. Gamestop has listed for pre-order all four Turtle figures with individual releases for $22.99 each. The figures are said to be Gamestop exclusives with a February 1, 2019 release date.

NECA states the figures will have weapon accessories but things like the pizza and mutagen canisters that were featured in the SDCC exclusive set will not be included.

So, I DID get the SDCC version, and . . . no pizza and mutagen, huh?

. . . .

I'm gonna say, I'm a LITTLE irritated at the pricing here.  You're saying I paid $38 for a plastic pizza, a cardboard pizza box, a mutagen canister, and a fancy package?

On the OTHER hand . . . not saying they weren't worth it, and it IS a nice package . . . .

Either way, I'm overjoyed NECA will be able to mass-release these!  Any success they have is a success for ALL TMNT fans!  Just wish the price didn't make it feel quite so much like I got shafted on the price.  Then again, anything to totally screw over the secondary market scalpers is a good thing, in my book. *sneers*

Preordered mine as well.

Gamestop's shipping is such that it does not combine shipping on one order, so you have to pay $5-something shipping for each turtle, which sucks but it's not a deal breaker.  Some are speculating that it's just a pre-order thing and that they may adjust the price once they're in stock ready to ship?  We'll see.  Either way this is a good thing all around.

As for the cost of these vs the cost of an SDCC exclusive, I'm seeing a lot of people complaining about this and I don't get it.  If I could get the SDCC set at cost, I'd do it.

This is just one of the best piece of action figure news in a long time.  I really hope that they can do that for future releases and who knows even for the older stuff.

I would love to see the cartoon turtles in this style.

Put the weapons and a couple of hands and we are good to go!

Does anyone know if this includes Canada??

No, I checked with NECA. The US and Australia are the only places they are allowed to sell their TMNT figures due to licensing.

I’m all about these badboys... I can only hope I’ll have the funds to pick ‘em up, closer to the time of release.

^ It’ll mean I’ll have to save up a little, but if I can order them sometime around Christmas, as my birthday is around that time, it shouldn’t be a problem snagging a set. That is, if they’re still available by then.

I’m super happy I can get this set. I tried to get it the 3 days it went up on neca’s Site and failed. I had it in cart and while payment wasn’t processing they went out of stock. I’m sure some people who got the exclusive may be pissed but at least it isn’t exactly the same as it is missing accessories and the packaging is different. Would be cool if they sold the diorama also at GameStop

^ I saw quite a few folks saying that they got as far as checkout and bam, they were sold out by the time the page loaded. I didn’t even have the funds to try, and that was maddening enough, let alone what it must’ve felt like to get that close! I really hope I can get the funds together for them this time around.

I was really sad when the sdcc set sold out, thought I was never going to get my hands on these (Ive got my set of 4 preordered now, and Im pumped, I believe once I have them in my hands ill be as happy as I was when I first saw the movie back when I was a kid) that being said, Aparently Neca has plans for another pack for next years SDCC I really hope they continue this new way of selling them so everyone can get their hands on these amazing figures (I have my fingers crossed that they get to selling last years cartoon figures in stores as well).
