So, has anyone been watching?

I have to  say I was a little disappointed in the finale (spoilers, if you haven't seen it yet)

The series seemed  to start  out w strong connections to the films, including appearances & voiceovers by Oscar Issac's Poe, and BB8, aswell as, appearances by General Leia. Unfortunately, it relied tooheavily on the antics of Kaz and Neeku for my tastes. I became more interested with the broadcast of the Starkiller speech, the launch of the Colossu , and the countdown to the finale  As it got closer, I as trying to figure out the timeline... I I thought they hinted at the  Resistance's call for help, from TLJ, but, it didn't seem to go any here. When the X-Wings showed up, for their escort mission,  I had more false hope. When the  Rise Of Skywalker trailer revealed that image of the Falcon and the armada of ships, there was speculation the Colossus might be hidden in there, somewhere (I believe the Fireball is supposed to be there, but, I haven;t seen an image, so far).

So, I watched the series finale today, an while  I was a little surprised by the damage incurred by the First Order,  I still held out hope for a voice over by Billy Dee at the end. I guess I should've learned  my lesson from Rebels (I liked that finale, but, I think we were all expecting to see the Ghost head to Scariff)',
