Master Made Titan w/ UM figurine arrived today....
This set since it first debut a couple of years back and up to now was like back and forth for me because whenever I tried to order one, I always cancelled toward the end. The reasons, I was kind of annoy that Master Made UM has yellow eyes instead of blue. Gen.Metroplex, yes he's cool, but I still prefer the G1 version better. So last week, I said forget it, just pull the trigger and be over with it...and today he's arrived, lol:

Not a haul, but I did see TR Blitzwing and Octane at Wal-Mart awhile ago...couldn't afford them because Star Wars is a priority right now, but they are hitting stores apparently...

Time to report another vintage G1 figure crossed off my list. Complete Iron Hide in very good condition, great paint, stickers, and pretty tight, just $25. As a mainstay of the original cartoon cast, this guy was alway high on my radar and I knew he was on that you can get a good deal on if you're patient. Toying with the idea of getting one of those third party heads. I always thought it was a bit bizarre that his toy had his face looking through his windshield but that's definitely part of the charm of this guy, IMO.

Once I got his masterpiece version I got rid of him. I just couldn't stand him & Ratchet from the beginning. They never looked like their cartoon counterparts & that annoyed me ever since.

I had the European classic version.

Absolutely, sir. They (Ironhide and Ratchet) are wildly inaccurate to their cartoon versions. Also, comparing Ironhide to his other mid-size teammates (Sideswipe and Mirage, the only other two I have), he's actually kind of shrimpy.

 

Still, for me it's part of the charm of the vintage figures.

The stores in my area suck.I still havent found Topspin Twintwist or seaspray I mean wtf??
