G1 Character that you wanted to be in the cartoon but never was

Whose a G1 character that you would have liked to see in the cartoon that never was? For me one right of the top of my head would be Venom (insecticon) I think it would have been cool to see any of those deluxe insecticons make it into the cartoon.

I guess I would say the Jump Starters. I still have my Top Spin I guess I would of like to see him in the show. To me I had always though the clones of the Insecticons from the cartoon where the ones of the toys. But I know they where not really. That was just something I had always though the clones where the Deluxe Insecticons.

Oh also would of like the see a cartoon version of Hub Cap. It was so weird that he was the only mini bot that was never in the cartoons.

Yes!! I always thought those guys were underrated, but I loved them and thought they looked great. I sure do wish they had some screen time back in the day, and I'd definitely love to see some modern versions of them in the current line.

 

I'll also add to what Wheeljack said by saying I thought that Roadbuster and Whirl should have been portrayed on the show...they fit the Autobot versions of a Shockwave-type of Transformer with a non-descript, non-humanoid face. Shockwave was always unique-looking and memorable because of it, and it would have been nice to have that kind of visual impact and impression from an Autobot or two, and Roadbuster and Whirl would have fit the bill nicely.

3 things I wanted to see in the American G1. I say American because I did not know about the Japanese version until I was grown.

 

1. Powermaster Optimus Prime. He was the last transformer I bought and would like to have seen him as the resurrected Optimus at the end of season 3.

 

2. Not a character, but I would have liked to have seen an Autobot car based on a DeLorean.

 

3. To settle who is bigger, I would have liked to see Metroplex and Fortress Maximus in the same shot.
