Lincoln March of the Court of Owls

Who is this, you ask? WHO? Lincoln March, the master manipulator who initially befriended Bruce Wayne as a good-willing politician while secretly conspiring against him for the mysterious Court of Owls. In the final confrontation of the City of Owls story, Lincoln would go on to betray the Court while donning a technologically-advanced Talon suit, in which he confronted Bruce and claimed himself to be Thomas Wayne Jr., supposedly the long-lost brother of Bruce Wayne. With his transformation complete, he (unofficially) assumes the mantle of the New 52 Owlman of Earth 0.

 

Personally I'm surprised that DC Collectibles still hasn't made a figure of the main villain of the initial Court of Owls/City of Owls New 52 story by Snyder, especially given how many figures they introduced already through their Greg Capullo Designer Series. In this regard I decided to make my own custom figure, specifically an Arkham-inspired version. I started out using an Arkham Knight figure and sculpted onto his helmet to create Lincoln's creepy owl mask. For the eyes I drilled two holes and filled them in with sculpey, to make sure that they weren't completely hollow since Lincoln's mask was known to have a creepy glow behind it. For accessories, I took a pair of 1/12 knives from Gundam parts since Lincoln was known to primarily use bladed weapons. Then I crafted dual hidden blades on his right hand using acrylic plastic. Afterwards, the whole figure was repainted to match the color silhouette of Lincoln's Talon suit as seen in the finale of City of Owls; in which I specifically gave the white parts a glossy finish as means of creating a shiny porcelain appearance to his armor.
