In case anyone missed the news over at MarvelousNews.com yesterday, if you missed out on the SDCC boxset with Enchantress worry not cause she is coming in the new Dr. Strange wave due out next month along with Astral Form Strange.

So I think that's just about every character being re released from last year's set except the one I'd really want: Magic. Oh well , I'm glad Hasbro is making these available for the fans.

The astral plane Dr. Strange is kind of weak but as someone who couldn't afford to get the SDCC this year(turns out moving from state to the other is kind of expensive) I'm kind of glad we're getting a rerelease of Enchantress. Same applies with Doctor Voodoo as I had a problem with the site last year and couldn't get the set. Now if they could get around to rereleasing Hela and a non Final Fantasy, non gamer's wet dream Magik in her black and yellow New Mutants color I'll be a happy camper.

I hope so....could use her & Surtur!.....Please Marvel an real BAF Surtur would be the shiiiiii!......Oh wait lets remake the Abomination & Green Goblin & Juggernaut at least 4 more times...I don't remember asking for an Space Venom either? Did the Fans vote for that one? I'm going to see the Movie (of course) but this wave is lackluster for me...Enchantress & Brother Voodoo & Strange are keepers....I don't know about the rest...the Astral Strange looks phoned in...

It would be good if they release Hela for the upcoming Thor movie which I'm assuming will get at least one wave of figures. Surtur would be a great candidate for a BAF.

I'm ok with them releasing comic-con exclusives to the general public. Of course it also helps that I've missed the last three years sets! However the Enchantress is a must have for my Secret Wars figure collection.

I don't mind them rereleasing Enchantress as I haven't been able to get the SDCC Raft set, but I can certainly see how it sucks for those who did. Of course the same can be said for quite a bit of this whole wave, even the B-a-F. Lazy seems to be the most apt description. I gues they don't have as much faith in Strange as they did in Guardians a couple years back and are going for an absolute minimum effort here which is a shame. A few changes to the paint and this line could have been substantially different - classic colours comic Strange, original outfit Brother Voodoo with a few flesh tones, even just some glow in the dark plastic for the astral form just to give it a little something extra... Oh well, I'm glad for what new stuff we are getting at least!

If one thinks about it, it makes sense that Hasbro is reissuing figures that were once exclusives to retail as tooling is expensive. I think those that were cancelled like the Schism Rogue had her head reused for the recent Sharon Carter figure for instance. Looking a the Rafter set, I imagine Dreadknight being the only unique figure despite having a specialized head and lance. The rest will be released one way or another - the spiderman is the pizza spiderman with a future Spiderman head. I wouldn't be surprised if that SDCC Spiderman head is from the upcoming black Spiderman fig. I think the head of the Purple Man figure would be used for a future retail character.

I seriously hope they reissue Hela somehow, unless of course we get a comic-faithful movie version then I guess I wouldn't mind that either.
