Custom Contest Entry - Dawn of the Predators

Recommended Posts

My "Caesar" from NECA's "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" line looked naked and susceptible to *Arnold Szwartzenegger attacks...so I pulled the armor off of an old Movie Maniacs Predator (City Hunter) figure by McFarlane Toys. Removed the dreds and attached them directly to the mask. Added elastic straps to the shoulder pads and knee pads. I attached the disc holder and left thigh pad to the under edge of the skirt piece (originally they were attached to Predator's thighs directly). I couldn't believe how perfectly it all fit...this custom practically built itself! Finally applied Caesar's signature war-paint to the helmet.

*Armor also protects against Danny Glover, Bill Paxton, Apollo Creed, Elliot from E.T., Adrian Brody, Topher Grace, and Morpheus. The boys in the lab are still working on Danny Trejo because damn...that guy is made outta concrete :/
