Contest entry : Storm Shadow 1/6 scale

Hello to everyone.

 

I made this custom 1/6 scale storm shadow, using the following techniques.

 

The head:

 

The head was made using two heads. First i took apart the storm shadow V2 head.

Took out the inside of the head that had the forehead eyes and nose, and replaced it,

with a slamdunk 1/6 anime head. I took my dremel tool and cut the head part that i need it.

Only i took the forehead eyes and nose part. I shaped it a way that would fit the sideshow head

that i took apart. Also the eyes look more asian. Then using my airbrush I painted the head with

a much clean white color. The original color the head had was much darker.

 

 

The body:

 

The body that i used was a kaustik plastic athletic muscle body. I altered the neck joint so that it

could fit a sideshow peg that would hold the head on that body. Also the ankles where dremeled

so that way the sideshow foot pegs could fit inside.

 

The ninja suit:

 

The suit was custom made and also the cobra logo was a iron on transfer. The black belt was also custom made.

 

The Tabi boots:

 

The boots where originally black, they came from a sideshow black cobra ninja. I repainted them.

 

Accessories:

 

The backpack that holds the arrows and also the arrows, are from sideshow`s original storm shadow. But the leather belt that holds the backpack is custom made by myself. The stainless steel belt buckle is custom made by myself. The bow is also from the original sideshow storm shadow.

 

The two katana swords the sai sword and nunchucks are from a Hasbro 12” gijoe the movie storm shadow. The two scabbard are from the same gijoe figure but painted black. Originally they came in white plastic color.

 

Base:

 

The base is a generic sideshow`s cobra base.
