Thanos - Guardians Of the Galaxy Movie Version - 4 Inch Scale

 

I have been making this version of Thanos ever since I saw him in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie back at the end of July. I have been working on it steadily ever since then. So here I am just over 2 months later and he's finally finished. Scroll right to the bottom to see the recipe after all the pics.

 

The figure is in the 4 inch scale, I reckon he stands somewhere around the 8 foot mark in scale to the other figures. Its hard to see how tall he was in the movie considering he was sitting down the whole time, but looking at the scale of him I have just to take an educated guess.

Hips/Upper legs: Thundercats Grune The Destroyer

Lower legs: Iron Man 2 Hammer Drone

Throne: X-Men Movie Professor Xavier Chair

Skirt: Avengers Movie Chitauri Soldier

All of the above parts have been heavily sculpted over with the armour etc.
