Hasbro Generations Combiner Wars Thread

I doubt they've even crunched the numbers, but you dont think a mass producer like Hasbro could undoubtedly make it cheaper?

I don't question the ability to make things cheaper on a mass production level. But I don't think that would make them cheap enough to be able to sell at their current price points and still achieve whatever their profit margin is. That's in the case of Giant and other combiners though. I think there are some unlicensed products that could fit in Hasbro's pricing structure, albeit they are also the cheaper ones.

I want badly those Stunticons.

Man Motormaster rocks. I been waiting for such a long time for a good Motormaster figure to be release and this is the right time. I may buy the hole set.

Any of you guys has a clue about what the price range would be for these figures?

I'm guessing the limbs will be Deluxe sized and priced accordingly, around $15 these days, with the team leaders being Voyagers in the $22 range.

Nice, thanks.

I'm going to buy them all.

I wasn't even saying make them on the level of third party. But they could remake the figures to be more accurate. Look at the generation figures and how close they are to the way we want them.

How do you define that? The fandom is certainly *not* united in it's opinion of how to do things.

No need to guess, that was what they announced.

These characters hold such a special place in my heart.

When the originals came out I spent a lot of my 2 week Florida summer vacation mowing lawns so I could buy all of the combiner sets at the local K-Mart.

That being said, I haven't ever really gotten back into collecting Transformers in the last few years.

Yes I've bought one here and there, but I still don't really collect them like other lines.

However I'm very tempted by these.

The thing that I like about this, is that prices are more accessible than the OVERPRICED Collector club for GI JOE figures and SOME 3rd party companies out there making Transformers G1 figures.

I prefer to support some kick starter ideas to bring to life some of these new old lines that spend it in ONE shot for just one overprice figure.

I would like to see a Kick starters for Visionaries (The castle that was never made "The Iron Mountain" and the catalog full of new figures that never came to life.
