New 52 Shazam

I've made some variations of Shazam before, but I think this one is definitely my new favorite. When the request came in, I was hesitant on the body type, but now that I see the final product, I will definitely be making more Shazam customs in this build. Another thing to note is the head. I was originally going to sculpt the hood over the head, but once I saw how close this cast looked, I opted to just add the hood onto the cape instead.

 

Gave the body a full repaint then started to work on the cape. I cut the Mysterio helmet off, then sculpted on the second cape. Then sanded it and sculpted it some more. Then, I added the hood to it. I'm still not great at eyes, so I opted to cop out with an electric effect. It looked good, but he seemed to be missing something after that. So, I grabbed some lightning effects from Storm and attached them to his arms. That was the final touch I needed to fully sell me on this design.
