I may have just kick-started a new vintage collection...

My wife and I were out-of-town for our honeymoon this weekend (Seventeen years yesterday!!), and on our way home we decided to check out a flea market we had been to in the past. To my surprise they had alot more collectibles than they used to, and I found a guy selling vintage Joes. Now I was never one to buy loose Joes; I was always waaay too picky and OCD to do so, but the ones this guy had looked like they came right out of the package. And I guess in my old age, I'm getting to the point of not really being as uptight as I used to about things like that I suppose. But anyway, I was particularly interested in a carded Low-Light he had, although it looked like it had been opened and taped back shut. I was also pleasantly surprised to learn he only wanted twenty bucks for it, and it was complete and in pristine shape. I left for a few minutes, then I came back and talked him down to fifteen, along with a loose but mint Version 1 Roadblock I had my eye on also, and I got him for ten bucks instead of the fifteen he was priced for. So as you can imagine I was thrilled to snag two mint vintage Joes for twenty-five bucks. The excitement of it all really brought back some great memories of my old Joes, and it's really motivated me to re-start a vintage collection.

Thanks Cap'n! I hope to soon. There's a handful of places I can think of off the top of my head that may have some. I guess due to my obsessive/compulsive nature, I've just always opted to ignore loose figures, and it's probably cost me some enjoyment over the years.

P.S. Hey mods, could you please delete the other two threads on this subject? Somehow I accidentally started three of them. Sorry...

it's funny, but i think i'm getting less anal about collectibles too. before, the package had to be perfect, now it doesnt even have to be misb, i'm fine with a very good condition loose item.
