3.75" Dark Knight Returns Batman

This is a variation of Batman I've wanted to do for a while. But, I always hated that he was pretty much the same size as the Hulk. The story was good, but the look just didn't make any sense to me. However, in Batman: Arkham City, one of the alternate skins is Dark Knight Returns, and they really slimmed him up. He's still big, but not huge. I liked how it looked, so I jumped on that variation. The only problem I hit was finding a cape and head appropriately sized, but that came together thanks to Young Justice Batman.

 

Championpool worked great since his belt could be repainted directly into Batman's utility belt. I cut the gauntlet blades off of a 90s Animated Batman, glued them to the body, then sculpted around them. A full repaint from there, and that pretty much finished him off. I did have a different head option, but I completely forgot to paint it up, so instead of giving it more time, I just went ahead and popped the head from Young Justice Batman on him, and figure I'll use the other head if I remake him with the yellow emblem.
